The meeting served as an important platform to reflect on recent selection results, strengthen project management capacity, and discuss key operational and strategic requirements for successful project implementation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"817\">The event was organized by the <strong data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"649\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Education and Culture Executive Agency<\/span><\/span> (EACEA)<\/strong> within the framework of the <strong data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"719\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Erasmus+ Programme<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, and gathered representatives of newly selected and ongoing CBHE projects from different regions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"892\"><em><strong>Day 1 \u2013 Programme Priorities and Project Management (20 January 2026)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"1175\">The first day of the meeting focused on horizontal issues relevant to all CBHE grant holders. Participants were introduced to the <strong data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1055\">2025 CBHE selection results<\/strong> and received comprehensive guidance on effective project implementation from the perspective of the managing authority.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1209\">Key thematic sessions addressed:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"2033\">\n<li data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1369\">\n<p data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1369\">Good project management practices, with practical recommendations for ensuring smooth coordination, financial discipline, and timely delivery of results;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1518\">\n<p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1518\">Key dimensions of successful CBHE project implementation, including governance, partnership management, quality assurance, and sustainability;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1519\" data-end=\"1660\">\n<p data-start=\"1521\" data-end=\"1660\">Monitoring and evaluation requirements, highlighting standards, added value, and practical approaches to tracking progress and results;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"1817\">\n<p data-start=\"1663\" data-end=\"1817\">Data protection obligations for beneficiaries, with a focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and responsible data management within EU-funded projects;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1818\" data-end=\"1914\">\n<p data-start=\"1820\" data-end=\"1914\">Ex-post audits, outlining what beneficiaries should expect and how to prepare effectively;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"2033\">\n<p data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"2033\">Improving project websites, with concrete suggestions on visibility, transparency, and communication of results.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2226\">These sessions provided grant holders with clear guidance on expectations and compliance requirements, while also offering practical tools to improve the quality and impact of their projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2228\" data-end=\"2276\"><em><strong>Day 2 \u2013 Regional Workshops (21 January 2026)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2628\">The second day was dedicated to <strong data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2332\">regional workshops<\/strong>, allowing for more targeted discussions tailored to the specific contexts of different regions. The <strong data-start=\"2433\" data-end=\"2467\">Central Asia regional workshop<\/strong> brought together project teams from the region to discuss implementation challenges, regional priorities, and opportunities for cooperation and mutual learning.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2833\">The workshop was facilitated by representatives of the CBHE project management team, geographic coordination experts, and National Erasmus+ Office representatives from the region. Discussions focused on:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2834\" data-end=\"3154\">\n<li data-start=\"2834\" data-end=\"2905\">\n<p data-start=\"2836\" data-end=\"2905\">Common implementation challenges faced by Central Asian institutions;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2906\" data-end=\"2976\">\n<p data-start=\"2908\" data-end=\"2976\">Expectations regarding reporting, dissemination, and sustainability;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2977\" data-end=\"3078\">\n<p data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"3078\">The role of National Erasmus+ Offices in supporting grant holders throughout the project lifecycle;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3079\" data-end=\"3154\">\n<p data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3154\">Strengthening regional cooperation and peer learning among CBHE projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3156\" data-end=\"3202\"><em><strong>Participation of Kyrgyzstani Grant Holders<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3204\" data-end=\"3372\">Kyrgyzstan was represented in the Central Asia regional workshop by <strong data-start=\"3272\" data-end=\"3311\">three higher education institutions<\/strong> that became CBHE grant holders following the 2025 selection:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3595\">\n<li data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3448\">\n<p data-start=\"3375\" data-end=\"3448\"><strong data-start=\"3375\" data-end=\"3416\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University<\/span><\/span><\/strong> with the project <em data-start=\"3434\" data-end=\"3447\">MANAS-E-LAB<\/em>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3449\" data-end=\"3522\">\n<p data-start=\"3451\" data-end=\"3522\"><strong data-start=\"3451\" data-end=\"3492\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">International Higher School of Medicine<\/span><\/span><\/strong> with the project <em data-start=\"3510\" data-end=\"3521\">D-TIDE-KG<\/em>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3523\" data-end=\"3595\">\n<p data-start=\"3525\" data-end=\"3595\"><strong data-start=\"3525\" data-end=\"3566\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Osh Technical University<\/span><\/span><\/strong> with the project <em data-start=\"3584\" data-end=\"3594\">DIGITECH<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3597\" data-end=\"3777\">Their participation provided an opportunity to engage directly with the managing authority, receive region-specific guidance, and exchange experiences with peers from Central Asia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3795\" data-end=\"4211\">The Grant Holders Meeting Erasmus+ CBHE 2026 reaffirmed the importance of strong project management, compliance with EU requirements, and effective communication and dissemination.
