It emphasizes a shift from traditional, content-heavy education models toward systematic development of <strong data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"689\">future skills &#8211; <\/strong>transversal, meta, and green competencies that enable graduates to adapt, innovate, and learn continuously throughout life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"851\"><strong>Alignment with Global Frameworks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The roadmap is aligned with leading international policy frameworks, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1457\">\n<li data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"1116\"><strong data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"975\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">UNESCO<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and its <em data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1006\">Futures of Education<\/em> agenda, which calls for education that goes beyond factual knowledge to build capacity for uncertain futures;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1117\" data-end=\"1269\"><strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1160\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">OECD<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and the <em data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1192\">Learning Compass 2030<\/em>, highlighting learner agency, adaptability, and transformative competencies;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1457\"><strong data-start=\"1272\" data-end=\"1313\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Union<\/span><\/span><\/strong> policies such as the European Skills Agenda, Key Competences for Lifelong Learning, DigCompEdu, and the European approach to micro-credentials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These frameworks informed the seminar discussions and now underpin the proposed institutional reforms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1588\"><strong>Key Trends Identified<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Building on the four thematic sessions of the TAM seminar, the document highlights several key trends:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"2193\">\n<li data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1782\">Growing demand for transversal, meta-cognitive, and green skills across all disciplines;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1858\">The need for competency-based, flexible, and regularly updated curricula;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1859\" data-end=\"1927\">Stronger work-based learning and structured employer partnerships;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1928\" data-end=\"2035\">Teaching and assessment innovation through digital tools, AI, project-based and challenge-based learning;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2036\" data-end=\"2116\">Expansion of lifelong learning through modular programs and micro-credentials;<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2117\" data-end=\"2193\">Continuous faculty development and whole-of-institution capacity building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2195\" data-end=\"2229\"><strong>The Phased Roadmap (2026\u20132028)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The roadmap proposes a <strong data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2277\">three-phase approach<\/strong> for institutional transformation:<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2313\" data-end=\"2354\">2026 \u2013 Foundation Building and Pilots<\/strong><br data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2357\" \/>HEIs are encouraged to adopt a Future Skills Integration Strategy, audit existing curricula, launch pilot curriculum reforms, initiate employer advisory boards, test innovative pedagogies, and explore micro-credentials. Faculty awareness-raising and initial training are central at this stage.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2652\" data-end=\"2686\">2027 \u2013 Scaling and Integration<\/strong><br data-start=\"2686\" data-end=\"2689\" \/>Successful pilots are scaled across faculties. Most study programs integrate future skills learning outcomes, employer partnerships are formalized, internships and mentorship schemes expand, micro-credentials are institutionalized, and faculty development becomes systematic and incentivized.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2983\" data-end=\"3040\">2028 \u2013 Institutionalization and Continuous Innovation<\/strong><br data-start=\"3040\" data-end=\"3043\" \/>Future skills integration becomes embedded in academic policy, quality assurance, and institutional culture. All programs align with agreed competencies, micro-credentials and lifelong learning pathways mature, employer collaboration is sustained, and HEIs position themselves as innovation hubs serving society and the economy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3395\"><strong>Purpose and Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This follow-up document translates the outcomes of the December 2025 TAM seminar into a clear, actionable roadmap with milestones, responsible units, and indicators.
