The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, in partnership with Adam University organized and conducted a seminar on the development of research potential in higher education. The event took place on March 11-12, 2024, at Adam University and gathered representatives of the educational community interested in enhancing research skills and practices.<\/p>\n

The seminar which attracted over 35 participants provided a unique opportunity for educators, researchers, and students to discuss key aspects of research work in higher education and to develop strategies for integrating these skills into the educational process.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Laura Schilow from the Department of Higher Education Development and Mr. Wolfgang Deicke, Director of the bologna.lab at Humboldt University, served as speakers, delivering sessions on problem formulation, methodology, data analysis, and organizing group work and practical sessions.<\/p>\n

Goal of seminar<\/strong>: To increase awareness and understanding of research-based education among higher education stakeholders in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

Objectives:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

To present best practices and strategies for implementing research-based education in higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

To develop a comprehensive framework for research-based education that can guide the implementation of this approach to teaching and learning in higher education institutions and can be adapted to the needs of higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

To provide an opportunity for participants to collaborate and share their expertise in developing a research-based education framework.<\/p>\n

To create the necessary opportunities and resources to support the implementation of research-based education in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

Expected Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Increased awareness of the importance of research-based education and its potential to enhance the quality of education and research produced by higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

Development of a comprehensive framework for research-based education capable of guiding the implementation of this approach to teaching and learning in higher education institutions and adaptable to the needs of higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n

Facilitation of collaboration and expertise sharing in the development of a research-based education framework.<\/p>\n

Strengthening of the necessary human resources and infrastructure to support the implementation of research-based education in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n
