On November 18-19, 2022 the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the National Erasmus Office + held a seminar to discuss the regulatory and legal framework for the reform of higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, which received a special status in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. <\/p>\n

The decree grants a special status providing for broad organizational, financial and academic autonomy to the following state higher education institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic:
\n\ud83d\udd39Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University;
\n\ud83d\udd39Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razakov;
\n\ud83d\udd39Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after Konstantin Skryabin;
\n\ud83d\udd39Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after Isa Akhunbaev;
\n\ud83d\udd39Osh State University.<\/p>\n

But there are still a number of problems and challenges that need to be finalized laws and regulations on the status of universities in Kyrgyzstan. <\/p>\n

The purpose of the seminar was to develop a roadmap for the implementation of the above-mentioned decree. <\/p>\n

The seminar was attended by rectors and vice-rectors of status universities and experts in the reform of higher education of the Kyrgyz Republic.
