Particular attention will be paid to the<br \/>\ndiscussion of opportunities and necessary steps to establish long-term and sustainable cooperation between relevant<br \/>\ngovernment agencies, Universities and the private sector (enterprises) to train highly qualified personnel that meet the<br \/>\nneeds of the industry in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.<br \/>\nRepresentatives of relevant state bodies (agencies for standardization, the Ministry of education, economy and<br \/>\nagriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan), business associations and representatives of the<br \/>\nprivate sector \u2013 producers, processors and exporters of agricultural products will attend the conference.<br \/>\nThis conference is organized by a consortium headed by the Latvia University of Agriculture, in the framework of the<br \/>\nproject \u201cHigher education for food production systems and standards in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan\u201d (HECAFS),<br \/>\nfunded by the European Union Programme \u201cERASMUS +\u201d.<br \/>\nThe overall objective of the project \u201cHECAFS\u201d is to support the modernization of higher education system for the<br \/>\nimplementation of international systems and standards for the production and processing of food products in<br \/>\nTajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, thus enhancing the export potential of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 16th to 17th may, 2019 at the \u201cJANNAT REGENCY\u201d hotel in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, a conference will be held on the modernization of higher education in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, in the interests of the food production and processing industry.
