{"id":4925,"date":"2018-12-06T09:05:09","date_gmt":"2018-12-06T05:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/?p=4925"},"modified":"2019-02-12T13:46:17","modified_gmt":"2019-02-12T09:46:17","slug":"tam-phd-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/tam-phd-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminar on Particularities of PhD accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 5 and 6, 2018, the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan organized a seminar on \u201cParticularities of PhD accreditation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the seminar is to familiarize with the European requirements for the development, implementation and accreditation of PhD programs.<\/p>\n<p>A visiting EU expert, Professor of Cell Physiology at the University of Cardiff, Kenneth Vann was the main speaker of the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>A welcome speeches were made by Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva, National Coordinator of the Erasmus + Program in Kyrgyzstan and Ms. Jyldyz Omurzakova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the IUK.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day, the EU expert made a report on the European requirements for development and implementation, and the criteria and standards for accreditation of the PhD program.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms. Larisa Marchenko made a presentation on the State policy in the implementation of PhD programs (introduction of the third level of education).<\/p>\n<p>During the second day of the seminar, the Universities of the Kyrgyz Republic involving in implementing of pilot PhD programs shared with their experience.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar was attended by leading experts in the field of accreditation of universities and the introduction of a system for ensuring quality control of education from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Independent Accreditation Agencies and representatives of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/agenda.pdf\">Agenda<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/ORPHEUS-AMSE-WFME-standards-for-PhD-education.pdf\">ORPHEUS AMSE WFME standards for PhD education<\/a> &#8211;
