{"id":2381,"date":"2016-09-12T14:10:13","date_gmt":"2016-09-12T10:10:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/?p=2381"},"modified":"2017-09-06T15:03:33","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T11:03:33","slug":"2381","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/2381\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminar &#8220;Promoting quality assurance: self-assessment as a tool for the efficient development of higher educational institution\u201c in the framework of  the ERASMUS + project   (EurDiQ)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 8<sup>th<\/sup>December 2016 at the ADAM University\/Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics was organized seminar on the topic <strong><em>&#8220;Promoting quality assurance: self-assessment as a tool for the efficient development of higher educational institution\u201c<\/em><\/strong>in the framework of\u00a0 the ERASMUS + project European Dimension in Qualifications for the Tourist Sector (EurDiQ).<\/p>\n<p>The wider objective of seminar\u00a0 is information exchange between participants on topical issues of development\u00a0 quality assurance of education and a role of self-assessment, discussion of the best practice of self-assessment of \u00a0educational organizations (on the example of higher education institutions of United Kingdom).<\/p>\n<p>The invited expert in the field of quality assurance in higher education, professor from London-Metropolitan University (London, United Kingdom), <strong><em>Mr. Gray Patrick David<\/em><\/strong>, and during his presentation it was discussed about need of carrying out a self-assessment for higher education institution for the quality assurance provided by higher education institution of education, having noted at the same time that today, in the conditions of high level competition in educational system, in particular the higher education, quality assurance of education becomes an objective necessity in activities of \u00a0higher educational institution.
