Project Description:<\/strong>
\nMain objective of this project is strenghtening research capacities in partner countries in areas of public health, promoting a sound exchange of information and building capacities between higher education institutions of European Union and Central Asia. This objective wil be achieved tuning existing doctoral studies, developing new MSc programs and implementing blended learning approach. The project will enhance the quality & relevance of higher education across European and Central Asian regions and India
\nin the public health areas and improve their capacity for sustainable international cooperation, thus
\ncollaborating at the creating a long lasting excellence international network, to continue its activities after the end of the project period.<\/p>\n

Specific objectives:<\/b>
\n– To foster professional competences of teachers in distinctive areas of Environmental & Occupational Health and Public Health;
\n– To revise & update existing MSc & PhD curricula in EH, OH & PH
\n– To develop new MSc in EH, OH & PH tailored to local needs;
\n– To introduce new pedagogical methods & quality assurance mechanism for Master studies;
\n– To establish educationallaboratories at PC universities for graduate students;
\n– To establish e-learning systems at partner countries universities to support regular students, correspondence students as well as professionals in life-long learning.<\/p>\n

The revised and newly introduced MSc & PhD programs will strenghen educational & research capacity of health systems in partner countries.
\nIt will become a base for preparation of skilled & knowledgable public health specialists for health care systems in PCs.
\nEstablished e-labs at Universities with Managed Learning Environment system and introduced b-learning in teaching & learning will improve students’ thinking skills, problem solving abilities, and collaborative development of knowledge. Therefore, it will enhance capacity & quality of higher education and produced human resources for public health systems in PCs.<\/p>\n

\nBut du projet :
\nContribuer \u00e0 contourner les effets n\u00e9gatifs du tourisme de masse en mobilisant l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie de formation pour op\u00e9rationnaliser les actions n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9veloppement du tourisme durable.
\nObjectifs sp\u00e9cifiques :
\n– Pallier le d\u00e9ficit de qualification pour le management des organisations et la conception et le d\u00e9veloppement de projets en Tourisme durable, en am\u00e9liorant l\u2019employabilit\u00e9 des \u00e9tudiants et en perfectionnant les cadres des entreprises

\n– Cr\u00e9er un dispositif modulaire de FTLV, transversal aux m\u00e9tiers du tourisme \u00e0 caract\u00e8re durable, accessible en FOAD \u00e0 partir de ressources p\u00e9dagogiques num\u00e9riques et former 50 professionnels par pays.<\/p>\n

Pour atteindre ces objectifs sp\u00e9cifiques, les partenaires veilleront \u00e0 :
\n– Avoir une approche globale d\u00e9cloisonnante et interdisciplinaire dans les m\u00e9tiers du tourisme impact\u00e9s par la durabilit\u00e9
\n– Ancrer fortement les formations avec et \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur des entreprises
\n– Doter les universit\u00e9s-chefs de file d’un centre d\u2019excellence d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux questions du tourisme durable
\n– Proposer des parcours individualis\u00e9s \u00e0 chaque apprenant (\u00e9tudiant ou salari\u00e9). Le formateur sera accessible en pr\u00e9sentiel et\/ou \u00e0 distance pour pouvoir prendre en compte leurs contraintes de disponibilit\u00e9 et d’\u00e9loignement des universit\u00e9s
\n– Pouvoir valider les exp\u00e9riences professionnelles par un dispositif de validation des acquis et s\u00e9curiser les parcours de formation par la capitalisation d’ECTS
\n– Perfectionner les professeurs sur leurs comp\u00e9tences d’analyse des m\u00e9tiers et la r\u00e9novation des cursus, sur les disciplines nouvelles r\u00e9sultant des comp\u00e9tences attendues par les entreprises et \u00e0 la pratique des TIC dans leurs cours

\n1. To modernize higher education in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan for implementation of internationally recognised food production and processing safety systems and standards.
\n2. To enhance relevance of higher education to needs of food production and processing industries of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
\n3. To increase capacity of higher education institutions in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
\n4. To enhance networking among higher education institutions and food production and processing industries in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Outcomes:<\/b><\/span>
\n1) Higher education in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will be modernised by developing and introduction study modules in four involved Central Asia universities.
\n2) Relevance of higher education to needs of food production and processing industries will be ensured by involving companies in study content development processes.
\n3) Capacity of higher education institutions will be increased through measures, increasing professionalism of teachers and through developing teaching facilities (upgrading study laboratories in 3 and increasing variety and number of study literature in 4 CA universities).
\n4) Networking among higher education institutions and food production and processing industries in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan will be enhanced trough joint events and publicity measures.
\n5) Networking among higher education institutions of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and EU Member States will be promoted through implementation of the proposed project, during which partners will plan further initiatives to be realised jointly.<\/p>\n

\nIn the last decade, the world has seen a tremendous increase in the number of students that choose to study abroad, underlining the growing global dimension of education. Furthermore the traditional flow of students toward English-speaking countries, such as the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, is changing. Not only EHEA is becoming attractive but other regions, as the Asia-Pacific region, have seen a sharp increase in the flow and exchange of students within the region\u2019s boundaries and the development of several education hubs.
\nThis kind of mobility, strongly supported by European policies, knew a strong acceleration thanks to the Erasmus Mundus Programme, especially Action 2, that was transferring to Countries which just started to apply the Bologna principles, all the problems connected with recognition of credits and grades.<\/p>\n

The main aim of the project proposal<\/b> is to provide tools and procedures in support of student mobility not only between PC and EU but also between PC and PC across different regions.
\nEven though also in other regions of the world, the principle of the EHEA to shift from a teacher-centred to a learner-centred approach in designing and delivering courses is increasingly acknowledged for the transparency and readability of the educational process, the concrete application of ECTS encounters difficulties.
\nMobile students have the right to fair treatment and to transparency of their grades when credits are
\ntransferred from one institution to another, since access to further studies, grants or other benefits may
\ndepend on their level of performance, that is equally important for graduates applying for a job in their own or in another country.
\nCredit allocation, grading systems and marking criteria vary among different education systems, but also between institutions from the same system. Thus it is difficult if not impossible to accurately convert grades from one system to another. Consequently, in the majority of cases, credit recognition and grade conversions are made directly by the admitting institution. The project, on the base of previous and ongoing cooperation and mobility projects with the partners, provides a concrete and reliable example of compatibility and comparability of credits and grades in some pilot degree courses previously developed by the partners within TEMPUS programme. The HEI will agree on the ECTS allocated to the Modules of the identified degree courses and, to ensure transparent and coherent information on the performance of the individual student, will provide – in addition to their national\/institutional grading scale and an explanation of it – a statistical distribution table of the passing grades awarded in the selected fields of study (Grade Distribution Table) showing how the grading scale is actually used in that programme. These synoptic schemes will constitute the base for future mobility among the partners and a basic example for further development of methodology.<\/p>\n
