On October 14, 2022, the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Kyrgyzstan held an Information Day of the Erasmus+ program for the faculty and students of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov (KSTU). The event was dedicated to the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus + program.
The purpose of the information day was to provide information about the program and its components in which Kyrgyzstan can take part as a partner country. During the event, NEO staff provided detailed information on the components: “International Credit Mobility”, “Capacity Building in Higher Education”, “Jean Monnet”.
KSTU im. I. Razzakova over the past 5 years has taken part in several projects of the Erasmus + program. Experts and project coordinators such as DERECKA, ELBA, HiedTech, GeoTAK, KyrMedu on the component of the higher education reform “Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education” presented the experience and successes of the implemented Erasmus + projects, introduced the features of the development of project ideas.
Students were provided with information about the possibility of studying at the best European universities, as well as obtaining a joint master’s degree.
In addition, KSTU I. Razzakov is pleased to announce that a new project has been won within the framework of the Erasmus + program, which is called “Development of financial autonomy of universities in Kyrgyzstan / DEFA. This is the second project of the Erasmus + program, where the universities of Kyrgyzstan are the main coordinators and managers of the international project. 15 universities are beneficiary members.
